On Sunday night, March 8th, Lucas, Michelle, and I drove up to Kent (just south of Seattle) to go to the Chris Tomlin Hello Love Tour concert. It was held at the Showare Center, which is where the Seattle Thunderbirds hockey team plays. During the concert Chris announced that this was the first concert held in the arena!! We were excited to kickoff the concert life of the arena with an awesome Christian artist.
I took almost 110 pictures at the concert, but because we were towards the back of the dark arena, most of them didn’t turn out very well. I did bring my telephoto lens to take shots of him on stage and on the big screen (these are the really close up shots of him). Below are the best pictures that I got.

Looking into the future:
Cool color of pants, but I’m pretty sure it was the lights making them purple:
After a lot of singing, he stopped for a few minutes to talk to us:
Interesting facial looks:

This was just before the end of the concert:
Chris’ opening band was Israel Houghton and the New Breed. Chris brought them out at the end of the evening too (Israel’s playing guitar):
Still looking good at the end of the night:
Both bands are on stage together at the end of the night:
It was an awesome night and I know that we had a great time. Lucas and Michelle--Thanks so much for going with me.
