I've gotten way behind on my blog, because of a lot of different reasons. Since the M's aren't playing right now, I figured it would be a great time to catch up on some of my favorite photos from the games I went to. Hopefully I'll be able to catch up by the time Spring Training starts in mid-February. On Saturday, August 15th, I headed up to another Mariner game against the Yankees. The day before, my Uncle Larry (Mom’s brother), came down with his friend, Tom, and Tom’s two boys for the Friday night game. Tom and Uncle Larry had come down for a game last summer and sat in my seats. I was at that game, but was sitting in a different seat. This year we ended up not being able to go to the same game.
After exchanging some of my season tickets, I was able get some awesome seats for this game, I was in Row 3 just outside of 1st Base:
Being so close to the field on the Mariner dugout side, I got close to the M’s players warming up. It made for some interesting pictures. Jack Hannahan stretching:
A long standing tradition for the rookie pitchers is to give them very cute girly backpacks for them to carry out to the dugout. Here’s Chris Jakubauskas and his cute little backpack:

During the singing of the National Anthem, several of the guys had lined up along the base path:

Mark Few, men’s basketball coach at Gonzaga University, threw out the first pitch at this game:
One of the drawbacks of sitting where I did, is that the pictures of the players on the field (looking towards home plate) are not very clear, because of the crowds behind them.
